The PIH1D1 protein (also called NOP17 or DNAAF14) is a core component of the R2TP cochaperone complex, where it partners with RPAP3 and the RUVBL1/RUVBL2 AAA+ ATPases to drive assembly of box C/D small nucleolar ribonucleoproteins and to support maturation of RNA polymerase II. Biallelic mutations in PIH1D1 have been linked to primary ciliary dyskinesia, making the protein a target of interest in ciliopathy research, snoRNP biogenesis studies, and investigations of transcription complex assembly.

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 200 µl per vial, giving enough volume to titrate across multiple Western blot membranes. The antibody detects human PIH1D1 and has been validated for Western blot on human cell and tissue lysates. Because the reagent is unconjugated, end users can pair it freely with HRP- or fluorophore-tagged secondary antibodies of their choice.
