This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against PICK1 (PRKCA-binding protein, also known as PRKCABP) and is validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. The antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate buffered saline without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺, pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It was produced by immunising rabbits with a synthetic peptide derived from human PICK1, then purified by affinity chromatography on an immunogen-coupled resin, and it specifically detects the endogenous total PICK1 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The host is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, the isotype is IgG, and the conjugate is unconjugated, making the reagent suitable for secondary-antibody-based detection chemistries. Recommended storage is at –20 °C for continuous use, and the product is intended for research use only. Published example data on the supplier page show a clean Western blot signal across multiple cell lines, clear nuclear and cytoplasmic staining on paraffin-embedded human rectum tissue at a 1:200 dilution in IHC, and a characteristic cytoplasmic pattern in HeLa cells by immunofluorescence with DAPI counterstain, supporting its broad utility for studying PICK1-dependent trafficking and signalling pathways.
