Anti-PI3K p85α/p55γ Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets PI3K p85α (phospho-Y467/Y199) and is raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PI3K p85α/p55γ around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 467/199. The unconjugated antibody reacts with human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence applications.

Specificity is directed against PI3K p85α only when phosphorylated at Tyr467, with the antibody also detecting PI3K p55γ when phosphorylated at Tyr199. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, yielding a purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 55 and 85 kDa.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.
