Anti-PI3K p85α/p55γ Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against PI3K p85α/p55γ. The antibody is unconjugated and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications, reacting with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PI3K p85α/p55γ around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 467/199. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of PI3K p85α only when phosphorylated at Tyr467, and also detects PI3K p55γ when phosphorylated at Tyr199. The molecular weights of the target proteins are approximately 55 and 85 kDa.

The reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
