This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the catalytic p110δ subunit of class IA phosphoinositide 3-kinase, a lipid kinase preferentially expressed in leukocytes that drives signaling downstream of B-cell, T-cell, and cytokine receptors. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous p110δ protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Researchers in immunology, signal transduction, and oncology use p110δ-specific antibodies to dissect PI3K pathway activity in lymphocytes and myeloid lineages. Applications include studies of B-cell receptor signaling, T-cell activation, mast cell function, and immune cell development, as well as investigations into activated PI3Kδ syndrome (APDS), chronic lymphocytic leukemia, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and other hematological malignancies where dysregulated PI3K signaling sustains tumor growth. Polyclonal reactivity increases the chance of recognizing multiple epitopes across the p110δ catalytic subunit, supporting clear bands on immunoblots of whole-cell extracts from immune cell lines such as Jurkat, Raji, and RAW264.7, plus primary splenocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells.

On Western blots the antibody detects a band consistent with the full-length ~110 kDa p110δ protein. Storage at -20°C in small aliquots preserves activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and the 50% glycerol buffer protects against accidental freezing in a standard -20°C freezer. Each lot is affinity-purified and supplied ready to dilute, fitting directly into signal transduction, cancer biology, and immunology workflows that probe PI3K pathway function.
