Anti-PI3 Kinase p85 / p55 (phospho-Tyr467 / 199)Antibody Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against PI3 Kinase p85 and recognises the p85 and p55 subunits only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 467 / 199. It is unconjugated and reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the sequence around tyrosine 467 (L-Y(p)-E-E-Y) of human PI3 Kinase p85 / p55.

Validated for Western blotting and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, the reagent is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Antibodies were produced by immunising rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugates and purified by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide.

The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. The predicted molecular weights of the detected targets are 55 kDa and 85 kDa, and a recommended working dilution for Western blotting is 1:500 to 1:1000.
