Anti-PI 3-kinase p85α Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the internal region of human PI 3-kinase p85α and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and ELISA, and it cross-reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, allowing it to be used across a broad range of cell and tissue-based experiments. Because it detects endogenous levels of the p85α regulatory subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase, the reagent is well suited to studies of PI3K signalling, insulin-receptor downstream events, and related pathways in cancer, metabolic and neuroscience research. For best stability, the vial should be stored at -20°C, where it remains suitable for up to one year, and small aliquoting is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
