Raised in rabbits against the human PHF3 protein, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a single vial, ready for use in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. PHF3 (PHD Finger Protein 3) is a chromatin-associated transcriptional regulator whose PHD domain reads H3K4me3, linking histone methylation state to RNA Polymerase II promoter-proximal pausing and to neural stem cell differentiation programs; it was first characterized as a locus genetically linked to late-onset Alzheimer's disease, and more recent work places it in the DNA damage response through 53BP1-associated repair pathways.

The antibody is reactive with human samples, making it useful for studies that map PHF3 expression across differentiated tissues, track its recruitment to active promoters, or compare its chromatin occupancy in neuronal versus non-neural lineages. The unconjugated format allows labs to pair the reagent with their own HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates depending on whether the downstream readout is chromogenic (IHC) or chemiluminescent (WB). For best activity, store refrigerated for short-term use and freeze in working aliquots to preserve titre across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
