Anti-PHB (Phospho-Tyr259) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent, this antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the region surrounding tyrosine 259 of human Prohibitin (PHB). The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. It specifically detects endogenous PHB only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 259; non-phospho-specific antibodies were removed by chromatography against the non-phosphopeptide during affinity purification.

The reagent is provided at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. A recommended Western blotting dilution of 1:500~1:1000 is indicated. The product should be stored at -20°C after delivery and protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
