Anti-PGP9.5 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets PGP9.5, a well-characterized neuronal marker, and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The unconjugated reagent is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with the immunoglobulin fraction corresponding to rabbit IgG. It was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from human PGP9.5 and subsequently affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, enabling selective detection of endogenous total PGP9.5 protein in validated Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. The antibody cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it appropriate for comparative studies across these species.
