Phosphoglucomutase 3 (PGM3) is a magnesium-dependent enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of N-acetylglucosamine-6-phosphate to N-acetylglucosamine-1-phosphate, a critical step in the UDP-GlcNAc biosynthesis pathway required for proper protein glycosylation. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against PGM3 and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence applications on human samples, supporting research into congenital disorders of glycosylation, sugar-nucleotide metabolism, and related immune pathways. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a vial, allowing flexible secondary labeling or direct enzymatic detection depending on the workflow. As a polyclonal reagent, it recognizes multiple epitopes across the PGM3 polypeptide, which can enhance signal in denaturing Western blot gels and in fixed-cell immunofluorescence imaging of endogenous expression.
