Raised in rabbit against PGM1 (phosphoglucomutase 1), the cytosolic enzyme that interconverts glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate during glycogen breakdown and glycan biosynthesis. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, supporting multiple blotting and staining experiments. PGM1 deficiency is linked to congenital disorder of glycosylation type XIV (PGM1-CDG), making this reagent useful for studies of carbohydrate metabolism, glycobiology, and metabolic disease research. Store at -20°C, aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light to preserve antibody activity.
