Anti-PGLS Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically targets PGLS (6-phosphogluconolactonase), a cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the second step of the pentose phosphate pathway, converting 6-phosphogluconolactone to 6-phosphogluconate. The reagent is produced in rabbit hosts and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, with a working pH of approximately 7.2.

Recommended applications include western blot and immunohistochemistry, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody solution. For handling, aliquot upon receipt and refrigerate at low temperature; for extended storage, freeze the aliquots and protect from light to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
