Anti-PGK1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Phosphoglycerate Kinase 1 (PGK1), the conserved glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate with concomitant ATP generation. PGK1 is widely studied as a reference housekeeping control for cytosolic protein loading in western blot, and as a functional marker of glycolytic flux, cancer metabolism, hypoxia response, and autophagy, where its moonlighting roles at the plasma membrane, in secreted form, and within the nucleus have been reported in tumor and stress biology literature.

The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples. It is intended for research use only and is well suited to studies comparing baseline and perturbed glycolytic activity across cell lines, primary tissues, and animal model specimens, including investigations of PGK1 redistribution in cancer and hypoxia signaling.
