PGBD5 (PiggyBac Transposable Element Derived 5) is a putative transposase implicated in the DNA damage response and in somatic genomic rearrangements found in pediatric solid tumors, including rhabdomyosarcoma and medulloblastoma. This unconjugated IgG1 clone, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µg liquid preparation, has been validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections. Clone P37 was raised against recombinant human PGBD5 and cross-reacts with the murine ortholog, supporting cross-species studies of RAG1-independent DNA cleavage and PiggyBac-derived sequence activity.
