Anti-PFKL Antibody

The antibody targets PFKL (phosphofructokinase, liver type), a tetrameric glycolytic enzyme that catalyses the ATP-dependent phosphorylation of fructose-6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate, the rate-limiting step of glycolysis. PFKL is one of three mammalian phosphofructokinase isoenzymes, the others being PFKM (muscle) and PFKP (platelet), and it is most abundantly expressed in liver and kidney tissue, with additional contribution to red blood cell and brain metabolism.
