Anti-PFKFB3 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against human PFKFB3 (6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-bisphosphatase 3), the bifunctional ~60 kDa glycolytic regulator that controls intracellular fructose-2,6-bisphosphate levels and drives the Warburg effect in many solid tumors. The protein is induced by HIF-1α under hypoxia and is widely studied in cancer metabolism, endothelial proliferation, and inflammatory signaling.

The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, in a 100 µL vial. It is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing detection of endogenous PFKFB3 across cell lines, primary cultures, and tissue sections. For Western blot, load 20-30 µg of total protein lysate and probe membranes after standard SDS-PAGE; for IHC, apply to formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections after antigen retrieval; for IF, use on fixed cells on coverslips.
