Anti-PFKFB2 (P479) Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent and directed against PFKFB2. The antibody is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The immunogen used to generate the antibody is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 451-500 of Human PFKFB2, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of PFKFB2 protein. PFKFB2 belongs to the enzyme protein family and is described as tissue-enhanced in retina, with a predicted intracellular localisation reported in the nucleoplasm.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has an approximate molecular weight of ~ 58 kDa.
