Anti-PFK-B Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against PFK-B (also known as PFKL or phosphofructokinase, liver type) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen corresponds to a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human PFK-B, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of the PFK-B protein. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA workflows, with cross-reactivity confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
