Anti-PEX5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography against the immunogen, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed to detect the peroxisomal targeting signal receptor PEX5 (also known as PTS1 receptor, peroxin-5, PXR1 or PTS1-BP). The product is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is presented unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream labelling workflows. The immunogen is a recombinant human PEX5 protein, and the antibody specifically recognises the endogenous level of total PEX5, making it suitable as a peroxisome marker in Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications.
