Anti-PEX19 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against human PEX19, a cytosolic chaperone and import receptor that recognizes peroxisomal membrane proteins in the cytosol and delivers them to the peroxisomal membrane. PEX19 plays a critical role in peroxisome biogenesis, and mutations in the gene are linked to Zellweger spectrum disorders. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µL of liquid and is suited for Western blot detection of the approximately 33 kDa PEX19 protein as well as for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections. It cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologs in addition to the human target, supporting work across standard mammalian model systems in cell biology and peroxisome research.
