Anti-Peripherin Antibody [8G2]

Generated using recombinant full-length rat Peripherin expressed in and purified from E. coli as immunogen, the IgG1 antibody is purified by immunogen affinity chromatography. The formulation consists of Phosphate Buffered Saline with 50% Glycerol and 5 mM Sodium Azide, and the target has a molecular weight of 57 kDa.

Validated for Western Blotting (WB), Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:500 for ICC/IF, and 1:1,000 for IHC, the unconjugated antibody reacts with human, rat, mouse, bovine, and porcine samples. Peripherin (also referred to by synonyms NEF4, Neurofilament 4, PRPH, and PRPH1) is widely used as a pan-neuronal marker. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery, it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
