Anti-PepT1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody targets PepT1 (SLC15A1), the proton-coupled oligopeptide transporter responsible for uptake of dipeptides and tripeptides across the apical membrane of small intestinal enterocytes. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl vial, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human tissue sections.

Researchers studying intestinal nutrient absorption, drug bioavailability via peptide transporters, or PepT1 expression in epithelial cancers commonly select this reagent. The antibody binds the native human PepT1 transporter, supporting detection of the ~80 kDa membrane protein band in western blot and clear cytoplasmic and membrane staining patterns in IHC preparations.
