Anti-PEPD Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes human PEPD (peptidase D, also called prolidase or Xaa-Pro dipeptidase), a manganese-dependent cytosolic metallopeptidase that hydrolyzes dipeptides with C-terminal proline and imidopeptides, completing the degradation of collagen and other proline-rich substrates. The antibody is supplied in a vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant, in a 100 µl volume suitable for multiple Western blot and immunohistochemistry runs. Raised in rabbit and unconjugated, it is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting workflows in research on prolidase deficiency, connective tissue turnover, fibrosis models, and proline-recycling pathways in tumor cell biology.
