Anti-PEK / PERK (Phospho-Thr982) Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated. It reacts with human samples and is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of PEK/PERK only when phosphorylated at threonine 982, and was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the sequence R-H-T(p)-G-Q surrounding the threonine 982 phosphorylation site of human PEK/PERK. For IHC, a dilution range of 1:50–1:100 is recommended.

The reagent is provided at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Antibodies were produced by immunising rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugates and purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by non-phosphopeptide chromatography.
