PDLIM1 (PDZ and LIM domain 1) is a cytoskeletal scaffold protein that anchors actin stress fibers at focal adhesions and couples the actin cytoskeleton to downstream signaling complexes. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes endogenous PDLIM1 across human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, the antibody supports studies of cell adhesion, migration, and cytoskeletal remodeling, including cancer research lines where altered PDLIM1 expression has been reported in breast and hepatocellular carcinoma. Its PDZ domain engages partners such as α-actinin while the LIM domain contributes to nuclear-cytoplasmic shuttling, making this reagent useful for mapping subcellular localization and interaction partners in fixed tissue sections, cultured cells, and lysed preparations.
