Anti-PDK1 (Ab-241) Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific peptide chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against PDK1 phosphorylated at the region surrounding residue 241 of the human protein (immunogen peptide A-N-S-F-V, corresponding to aa. 239–243). It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG at 1.0 mg/mL in 50 µl of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with no Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺. The antibody recognizes the endogenous total PDK1 pool (predicted molecular weight ~63 kDa) and has been validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence on human, mouse and rat samples, with suggested working dilutions in the 1:50–1:1000 range depending on application. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon receipt, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
