Anti-PDGFR-α Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting PDGFR-α (platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha), a type I transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase involved in mesenchymal cell proliferation, migration, and stromal signaling. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the 100 µl volume is sized for routine immunodetection workflows without immediate need for aliquoting.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, the reagent is suitable for profiling receptor expression in pericytes, fibroblasts, cancer-associated stroma, and developing mesenchyme where PDGFR-α signaling contributes to tissue remodeling, fibrosis, and tumor-stroma crosstalk. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the receptor, which is helpful when working with formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections in IHC or with denatured whole-cell lysates in WB.
