A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targets PDF and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated liquid preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, the reagent is purified by affinity chromatography, with a stated molecular weight of 20 kDa.
It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, and the recommended working dilution for WB is 1:500–1:2,000. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 40–243 of human PDF (NP_071736.1).
The product is shipped at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
