Anti-PDE6D Antibody

PDE6D (phosphodiesterase 6 delta subunit, also called PDEδ) is a prenyl-binding protein that escorts farnesylated and geranylgeranylated cargo to their correct membrane destinations, with particular importance in ciliary trafficking and photoreceptor outer-segment maintenance. Mutations in PDE6D have been linked to Joubert syndrome and to isolated retinal dystrophy, making reliable detection in human samples valuable for research into ciliopathies and related signaling pathways.
