Phosphodiesterase 4D (PDE4D) is a cAMP-specific hydrolytic enzyme that regulates intracellular cyclic AMP signaling and has been investigated as a relevant target in inflammatory, respiratory, and neurological research. This Antibodies.com reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against PDE4D, supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl volume for use in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples.

The antibody is generated in rabbit and purified as a polyclonal reagent, providing recognition of multiple epitopes across the PDE4D protein. It is reactive with human PDE4D and is intended for research applications including detection of endogenous PDE4D expression in cell lysates by Western blot, localization in fixed tissue sections by immunohistochemistry, and subcellular visualization in cultured cells by immunofluorescence. The unconjugated format lets researchers pair the antibody with their preferred secondary reagents, including HRP-conjugated or fluorescently labeled anti-rabbit IgG.

PDE4D is one of four PDE4 family members (PDE4A, PDE4B, PDE4C, PDE4D) that selectively degrade cyclic AMP, and it is expressed broadly across tissues including brain, heart, lung, and immune cell populations. Aberrant PDE4D activity has been linked to conditions under study such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, certain memory and cognitive deficits, and inflammatory disorders, making well-characterized antibodies against this enzyme valuable for cell signaling and pharmacology investigations.
