Phosphodiesterase 1C (PDE1C) is a calcium/calmodulin-dependent dual-substrate enzyme that hydrolyzes both cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP, regulating their intracellular concentrations in excitable tissues such as cardiac myocytes, vascular smooth muscle, and olfactory neurons. This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against PDE1C and supplied as an unconjugated reagent in a 200 µl volume, validated for Western Blot detection of endogenous PDE1C protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes across the protein, offering broader recognition when studying full-length PDE1C expression or comparing reactivity across species. As an unconjugated primary reagent, the antibody is paired in the lab with a secondary detection reagent of the user's choice — such as HRP-conjugated or fluorophore-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG — depending on the chemiluminescence or fluorescence Western Blot workflow being used.

For handling, store the antibody at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light; thaw on ice and briefly centrifuge before opening to recover any liquid condensed in the cap during storage. Repeated freeze-thaw of the stock should be avoided to preserve antibody binding activity.
