PCK1 (phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1, cytosolic) is the rate-limiting enzyme of hepatic gluconeogenesis, catalyzing the conversion of oxaloacetate to phosphoenolpyruvate in the liver and kidney. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com detects endogenous PCK1 across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies in metabolic disease, diabetes, and tumor metabolism research. The reagent is supplied as 200 µl of polyclonal antisera and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications. For storage, keep the vial frozen at -20 °C and thaw only working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity throughout its shelf life.
