Anti-PCID2 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets PCID2 (PCI domain containing 2), a nuclear protein best known as a subunit of the TREX-2 transcription-coupled mRNA export complex. Beyond its role in shuttling processed transcripts through the nuclear pore, PCID2 contributes to transcriptional elongation control and has been implicated in the DNA damage response, making it a useful marker for studies of gene expression, mRNA trafficking, and genome stability.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated reagent in a 100 µl vial, the antibody was validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human and mouse samples. Researchers commonly use it to probe PCID2 levels across cultured cell lines and tissue sections, to follow changes in TREX-2-associated complexes, or to examine how PCID2 redistributes following genotoxic stress.
