Anti-PCAF Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against PCAF (also known as KAT2B, P/CAF, or P300/CBP-associated factor), a lysine acetyltransferase involved in histone acetylation and transcriptional regulation. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated for downstream flexibility. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from human PCAF around the non-acetylation site of K428, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of PCAF protein only when that lysine is not acetylated. Affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, this polyclonal IgG reagent is validated for Western blotting (WB) and ELISA workflows and has been tested for reactivity against human and mouse samples.
