Anti-PC Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against pyruvate carboxylase (PC) and supplied as an unconjugated IgG reagent. It is validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunoprecipitation (IP) workflows.

The antibody reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 879–1178 of human pyruvate carboxylase (NP_001035806.1), and the reagent has a reported molecular weight of 130 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:1,000, ICC/IF: 1:10–1:100, and IP: 1:500–1:1,000.

The product is formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is affinity purified. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
