Anti-PBX2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the PBX2 transcription factor, this affinity-purified polyclonal IgG reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl unconjugated preparation in a glycerol-based buffer. PBX2 (Pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox 2) belongs to the TALE family of three-amino-acid-loop-extension homeodomain proteins and is encoded within the major histocompatibility complex on chromosome 6p21.32.

The antibody is validated for Western blot detection in mouse and rat samples and produces a band near 47 kDa in whole-cell lysates, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of the PBX2 protein. By binding PBX2, researchers can probe its role in heterodimeric complexes with MEIS1 and heterotrimeric assemblies with HOXA9, as well as its contribution to embryonic development, hematopoiesis, brain patterning, and leukemic transcriptional programs involving the c-myb locus.
