Anti-Pax-2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the Pax-2 protein and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence applications, including ICC/IF. It is unconjugated and reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, and is accompanied by two scientific validation images.

The antibody was raised against recombinant full length Human Pax-2 and detects endogenous levels of the Pax-2 protein. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, and recognises the target at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa.

Pax-2 (Paired box 2) is a transcription factor localised primarily to the nucleoplasm, with group-enriched expression in epididymis and kidney tissues.
