Pax1 is a paired-box DNA-binding transcription factor that patterns the sclerotome, drives vertebral column formation, and supports early thymus organogenesis, with loss-of-function variants associated with Klippel-Feil syndrome and otofaciocervical syndrome. The unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent offered by Antibodies.com targets this protein and is supplied as a 100 µl antibody stock for research use only. Validated applications include Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA, and reactivity is reported for human samples, making the antibody a practical tool for developmental biology, immunology, and skeletal tissue studies. The polyclonal format increases the chance of recognizing multiple epitopes on full-length Pax1, which is helpful when probing native protein in whole-cell lysates or fixed tissue sections. Aliquot the antibody upon arrival, store refrigerated, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve long-term binding activity.
