Anti-PAWR Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human PAWR (Prostate Apoptosis Response-4, also called PAR-4) tumor suppressor protein, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl in a vial, validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. PAWR is a pro-apoptotic transcriptional co-factor that links extrinsic death-receptor signaling to intracellular caspase activation, and it has been studied as a tumor suppressor that is lost or downregulated in prostate, pancreatic, and endometrial cancers. The reagent detects endogenous PAWR in whole-cell lysates and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, supporting investigations of apoptosis induction, NF-κB pathway crosstalk, and sensitization of tumor cells to chemotherapeutic agents.
