This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody targets PARN (Poly(A)-specific Ribonuclease), a 3'-exoribonuclease that shortens poly(A) tails during eukaryotic mRNA decay. Produced and validated by Antibodies.com, the reagent is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, giving a stable working stock for immunodetection workflows.

The antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) on human samples, supporting research into post-transcriptional gene regulation, oocyte maturation, the DNA damage response, and Dyskeratosis Congenita, a telomere-maintenance disorder linked to inherited PARN mutations.

Because the host species is rabbit and the conjugate is unconjugated, the reagent pairs cleanly with standard anti-rabbit secondary antibodies, whether HRP-labeled for chromogenic western blotting or Alexa Fluor–conjugated for fluorescent imaging. For Western blots, 0.5–2 µg/ml is a useful starting dilution; for IHC and IF, titration between 1 and 10 µg/ml allows optimization against antigen abundance and tissue fixation conditions.
