Anti-PARD6A Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against PARD6A (Partitioning defective 6 homolog alpha, also known as PAR-6A, PAR6A, PAR-6 alpha, or TIP-40), a scaffold protein central to cell polarity, asymmetric division, and tight-junction assembly. The reagent is presented as a 50 µL aliquot of unconjugated, affinity-purified antibody at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, supplemented with 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol for cryoprotection. Validated for Western blot (WB), the antibody is recommended for the detection of endogenous levels of total PARD6A in rat-derived samples and recognizes an immunogen consisting of a synthetic peptide derived from the human PARD6A/PRKC sequence, from which the polyclonal reagent was subsequently purified by affinity chromatography to remove non-specific background. Clonality is polyclonal and the host species is rabbit, with the conjugate state left unconjugated to allow researchers full flexibility for downstream labeling or secondary-detection chemistries of their own choosing.
