Anti-PANK1 Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent targeting human pantothenate kinase 1 (PANK1), the rate-limiting enzyme that phosphorylates pantothenate (vitamin B5) as the first committed step in the coenzyme A biosynthesis pathway. Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated preparation, the reagent is validated for immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Western blot (WB) workflows on human samples.

Because PANK1 controls flux through the CoA supply chain, this primary antibody supports studies of cellular CoA metabolism, mitochondrial lipid handling, and disorders linked to pantothenate kinase dysregulation, including pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration (PKAN) and broader neurodegenerative disease research. Endogenous human PANK1 can be detected in fixed cells and tissue sections, as well as in lysate-based blotting applications. Each vial is shipped in a 100 µl volume, ready for dilution into standard immunolabelling and immunoblotting protocols.
