Anti-PAK2 (Phospho-Ser141) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody, available from Antibodies.com, is directed against PAK2 phosphorylated at serine 141 and is validated for Western blotting (WB). The unconjugated reagent reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It was produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the sequence around the phosphorylation site of serine 141 (Y-L-S(p)-F-T) of human PAK2, conjugated to KLH.

The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of PAK2 only when phosphorylated at serine 141. Purification was carried out by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by chromatography against the non-phosphopeptide. The reagent is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
