The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human PAI-1, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of PAI-1 protein. It is supplied as a liquid at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.
