Anti-PAH Antibody

Phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH) catalyzes the rate-limiting step in the catabolism of L-phenylalanine, converting it to L-tyrosine with tetrahydrobiopterin as an essential cofactor. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against PAH and supports detection of the endogenous enzyme in human, mouse, and rat samples by western blot and immunohistochemistry.

Validated applications include immunoblotting of lysates from liver-derived and kidney-derived tissue, where the tetrameric enzyme is most highly expressed, and IHC localization of the antigen in fixed sections.
