The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent targets peptidyl arginine deiminase 4 (PADI4), a calcium-dependent enzyme that converts protein-bound arginine into citrulline. This post-translational modification reshapes chromatin architecture through histone citrullination and drives neutrophil extracellular trap release during innate immune responses.
Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows.
Researchers studying rheumatoid arthritis pathogenesis, granulocyte biology, and tumor epigenetics apply this reagent to detect PADI4 in human and rat tissue sections and cell lysates.
Store at -20°C; aliquot upon receipt and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity in the glycerol-stabilized solution.
