Anti-PADI2 Antibody

The anti-PADI2 polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit IgG reagent raised against peptidyl arginine deiminase type 2, the calcium-dependent enzyme that converts protein arginine residues into citrulline. Supplied at 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, it is validated for Western blot detection of human PADI2 in cell and tissue lysates, producing a band near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 76 kDa. Researchers apply it to studies of citrullination biology, including histone deimination in gene regulation, tumor invasion and metastasis in breast and other cancers, and dysregulated citrullination implicated in multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary antibodies and is suited to downstream chemiluminescent or fluorescent WB workflows.
