PA2G4, also known as EBP1 (ErbB-3-binding protein 1), is a proliferation-associated RNA-binding protein that participates in ribosome biogenesis, rRNA processing, translational control, and ErbB-family signaling. This rabbit polyclonal antibody, distributed by Antibodies.com, was raised against the human PA2G4 target and cross-reacts with the mouse and rat orthologs, enabling comparative work across standard mammalian model systems.

The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Each vial contains 50 µl of working solution, supporting western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and RNA immunoprecipitation workflows. Working dilutions generally fall between 1:500 and 1:2000 for western blot detection and around 1:50 to 1:200 for immunostaining, depending on sample abundance. PA2G4 localizes primarily to the nucleolus and nucleoplasm, and published studies link altered EBP1 expression to breast cancer cell proliferation, ribosomal RNA maturation defects, and stress response signaling.
