Anti-p73 (P298) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes the p73 transcription factor, a member of the p53 tumor-suppressor family, raised against an epitope corresponding to residue P298 of the human protein. The reagent is provided as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is unconjugated for direct detection or flexible secondary-labeling workflows.

The antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. Because p73 is encoded by the TP73 gene and expressed as multiple N-terminal isoforms — notably the pro-apoptotic TAp73 and the N-terminally truncated ΔNp73 — a polyclonal reagent offers broader recognition across these variants than a single-clone reagent typically provides.
